Welcome to Fabulous Good American Fit

One jean, multiple looks.
Everything moves fast, your fit doesn’t.

Project Overview

Challenge:
The challenge was to position Good American denim as more than a style statement, showing how it could move seamlessly across different moments of the day, social settings, and last-minute changes.

The campaign also needed to resonate with a younger digital audience immersed in lifestyle content, travel, live events, and short-form video, while maintaining an aspirational visual language that still felt immediate, relatable, and true to the brand.

Project Type: Concept Campaign
Brand: Good American Fit
Role: Creative Strategy, Art Direction & Campaign Development
Scope: Audience Research, Concept Development, Visual Direction, Copywriting & Content Planning

An end-to-end conceptual campaign exploring how Good American Fit could connect with a younger audience at the intersection of fashion, lifestyle, travel, and live events. Built around a social-first narrative set during the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, the campaign positions denim as a versatile constant within a fast-moving weekend of changing plans, settings, and experiences.

The story follows a lifestyle creator arriving in Las Vegas only to discover that her luggage has been lost. With multiple plans ahead, she rebuilds her looks around Good American denim. The jeans become the visual throughline of the weekend, moving across different settings, styling choices, and moments to demonstrate versatility through use rather than product claims.

The narrative structure draws loosely from Katy Perry’s Waking Up in Vegas and its themes of loss, luck, and recovery within the city. I adapted that energy into a more aspirational conflict: turning a lost-luggage problem into an opportunity to show how one core piece can support an entire trip.

The protagonist was conceived as an aspirational yet relatable lifestyle creator, someone who naturally blends fashion, travel, and personal experiences into content that feels native to her own digital world.

Concept

The concept began with an existing brand touchpoint: Good American’s physical presence in Las Vegas. From there, I explored how the location itself could become a campaign opportunity, looking at the events, behaviors, and cultural references surrounding the city that could naturally intersect with the brand.

The Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix emerged as a particularly relevant setting, bringing fashion, entertainment, nightlife, tourism, luxury, and digital culture together within a single weekend. Its day-to-night rhythm also created a natural framework for moving through visually and socially distinct moments while maintaining one cohesive narrative.

Creative Strategy

Conceptual Inspiration

The strategy focuses on proving product versatility through use rather than simply stating it. Each shift in context throughout the weekend becomes a new demonstration of how the same denim can adapt across different settings, styling choices, and moments.

Las Vegas connects the campaign to two recognizable cultural territories: the contemporary world of Formula 1 and the pop imagery historically associated with the city. A social-first approach translates that concept into native lifestyle formats such as storytimes, outfit checks, GRWMs, Reels, and TikToks, allowing the product to feel embedded in the creator’s experience rather than presented as an advertising interruption.

The contrast between an everyday problem like lost luggage and the spectacle of the Grand Prix allows Good American denim to bridge practicality and aspiration, reinforcing the brand as a versatile part of a younger audience’s fashion, travel, entertainment, and digital lifestyle.

Visual Direction

The visual direction blends the nighttime glamour of Las Vegas with a more spontaneous, social-first aesthetic. The goal is to preserve the aspirational energy of the city and the Grand Prix while keeping the content grounded in the visual language of a lifestyle creator.

Photography moves between neon-lit streets, hotel interiors, event spaces, and more candid in-between moments, using shifts in light, movement, and setting to reinforce the transition from day to night.

Styling keeps denim as the visual constant while tops, accessories, and surrounding contexts evolve. This allows versatility to be communicated through the image itself, showing how the same core piece can move across casual, urban, and nightlife looks without losing coherence.

The overall approach balances polished imagery with moments that feel more immediate and unforced. The result should feel distinctly Good American, confident, elevated, and visually intentional, while remaining natural enough to live organically across Reels, TikTok, and lifestyle content.

Campaign Moodboard

60-Second Script for TikTok / Reels

[Soft background music, almost imperceptible. “Cute Circus” by Tsundere Twintails or something similar.]

Influencer voiceover:

— Storytime: how I survived the Las Vegas GP weekend with only two pairs of jeans.

[Transition to campaign logo.]

[Clips at the airport. Frustration at baggage claim.]

— The airline lost my suitcase. Every outfit I had planned for Vegas... gone. And I still had four full days of events ahead of me.

[She drops onto the hotel bed. Scene change. She gets up with determination, giving herself a mini pep talk in the mirror.]

— So, after thinking about it for a second, I did the only logical thing: I went straight to Good American.

[Store visuals: denim racks, browsing, trying on clothes.]

— And that’s when I got a little Vegas lucky. I ran into my friend [Name] while she was shopping there too.

[Fun fitting-room clips: both creators trying on different styles, laughing, posing, and showing how the denim works across different fits.]

— We tried on basically every style available in our sizes—which was almost the entire store.

[Outfit-check montage: daytime looks, nighttime looks, and different styling combinations.]

— In the end, I took these two with me: one light wash and one dark wash. The fit, the quality, the comfort...

[Small gesture adjusting the jeans.]

— Exactly what I needed to survive Vegas from day to night.

[Montage across iconic Las Vegas locations during the day, the Grand Prix, and nightlife.]

— In Vegas, everything moves fast. Your fit doesn’t. Find yours online or in stores.

Expected Outcomes

  • Strengthen relevance among audiences interested in fashion, lifestyle, and digital culture.

  • Reinforce product versatility across day-to-night contexts.

  • Position the brand organically within contemporary cultural conversations.

  • Create a flexible content system that can easily adapt across TikTok, Reels, and other short-form formats.

The campaign aims to strengthen Good American’s perception as a versatile, aspirational, and culturally relevant brand by showing denim adaptability through a real-use narrative built for digital content.

By placing the product across different moments within the same trip, the concept connects function, style, and experience, allowing versatility to be understood naturally through context rather than communicated only as a brand claim.
