Forget me (not)

This was the moment I realized it was never going to happen.

PAINTINGPOEMENGLISH

Ene Grance Tellechea

Forget-me-not,
the eternal lover,
in an everlasting flower.

Forget-me-not,
and take care of me.

Forget-me-not,
when the avoidable happens
and I'm long gone.

Forget-me-not,
because I won't,
even if my wish is to do so.

Watercolor on canvas.

Location

Buenos Aires, Argentina.
